Hillside Residents Association responds to Planning Applications and other proposed or current developments on behalf of residents. As necessary Management Committee members will attend and provide representations at Planning Committees (Darley Dale Town Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council), Planning Inspectorate hearings etc and use other means to influence decision makers.

 

Copies of our representation letters are available in date order for both information and also to provide residents with a useful template for their own letters and responses. We will always highlight key points on individual planning applications in our periodic Newsletter. Follow the link below.

 

Public responses to planning applications and other consultations are always a "numbers game" - the quantity of responses is critical to influence the outcome. The Association will make responding to issues as easy as possible by providing residents with guidance and assistance on issues to raise (via template letters), points of contact details etc but it is really important that residents do make their own representations.
