Donations

Members of Hillside Residents Association do not pay any membership fee or subscription so the Association relies on grants and donations for its initial launch and normal running costs.

We are very thankful that Darley Dale Town Council have recently awarded us a grant specifically for getting this website up and running and for the production of a mail drop awareness campaign.  From past experience we will occasionally need funds to assist our work, for example getting professional advice on planning applications and legal assistance.

In the future there may be opportunities to purchase land for the benefit of the community. If this occurs we will always firstly seek agreement of our members and then launch and advertise a specific fund raising campaign.

Hillside Residents Association works solely for the benefit of our communities and any donations, of whatever value, will be most appreciated and greatly help to support our work. To donate simply click on the link opposite.

All donations go directly to our Lloyds Business Bank Account and will appear in summary in our quarterly and year end financial reports.

Membership

Full membership of Hillside Residents Association is open to all residents of Darley Hillside, Two Dales and Northwood & Tinkersley.  We will keep you informed of developments in our area and will be looking for your views on key issues and concerns, which we can address on your behalf. There are no subscriptions but donations, however small, will always be appreciated to help with the costs of the Associations activities.

In particular we are looking for members to join our Association Management Committee to help lead the work of the Association for the benefit of all residents. More information about this role can be found under Governance/Management Committee page. If you want to discuss this opportunity, or even better just put yourself forward just follow this link to send an email.

Even if you do not live in one of our three communities but would still like to support or be kept informed of the Associations activities you are very welcome and can join the "Friends of the Association", again by using the (add detail) tab above.. You will get all the benefits of being a Member but will not be able to vote at  our AGM.
